Metal God Entertainment has announced that it is bringing the ex-Judas Priest frontman's 'Live Insurrection' to Blu-ray as an audio-only release this September.
Recorded during stops on the band's acclaimed "Resurrection" tour, 'Halford: Live Insurrection' was first released in 2001 as an audio CD, and will hit Blu-ray on September 23 with multi-channel high-definition audio.
Housed in a collectible digipak, 'Live Insurrection' will include an original Rob Halford autograph and 20-page booklet featuring rare pictures and exclusive liner notes.
Full tech specs have yet to be released aside from 5.1 Surround audio (no format specified), and there is not expected to be any video portion to the release.
Metal God has not announced a suggested list price for the Blu-ray, but further details are expected in the coming weeks, so we'll keep you posted.
