It's a good 'get' for TiVo, though there's no date set for its inclusion.
Last year it seemed like Netflix streaming capabilities were one of the most important features to look for. If a Blu-ray player or set-top box didn't have Netflix, it wasn't worth looking at twice. Now that the movie streaming service is ubiquitous it looks like Hulu may be next.
TiVo has announced that Hulu Plus will be coming to TiVo Premier DVRs sometime within the next few months. There's no set date at the moment, but it seems likely that the changeover will occur when Hulu Plus finally comes out of beta.
To use Hulu Plus on your TiVo Premier you'll need a Hulu Plus subscription, as you might imagine. It seems like a bit of overkill for new shows, which you could easily record. For older shows though, it might be worth having around.
