Fox has announced an April Blu-ray arrival for 'Juno,' which is due to hit high-def with multiple bonus features and exclusive content.
The little movie that could, 'Juno' was the sleeper sensation of 2007, earning over $120 million at the domestic box office (where it is still firmly nestled in the top ten) and making a household name out of rising star Ellen Page.
With the film up for four Academy Awards (including Best Picture) as it heads into this weekend's Oscar telecast, Fox has announced an April 15 debut for the Blu-ray, day-and-date with a set of single-disc and two-disc standard DVD editions.
Extras shared between the Blu-ray and two-disc DVD include audio commentary by director Jason Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody, four making-of featurettes ("Way Beyond 'Our' Maturity Level: Juno - Leah - Bleeker," "Diablo Cody Is Totally Boss," "Jason Reitman For Shizz," "Honest To Blog!"), eleven deleted scenes, three outtake reels ("Gag Reel," "Gag Takes," "Cast and Crew Jam") and screen tests.
Also included on all versions is a Digital Copy of the film, for download on portable media devices.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be two TV specials, "Fox Movie Channel Presents: World Premiere - Juno" and "Fox Movie Channel Presents: Casting Session - Juno"
Tech specs for the high-def version boast a BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, plus English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround (48kHz/24-bit) and French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround (640kbps) audio and English, French and Spanish subtitle options.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
