Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has told retailers to expect a December Blu-ray arrival for the swashbuckling sequel 'The Legend of Zorro.'
The $50 million-grossing follow-up to 'The Mask of Zorro' is currently set to debut December 11, although somewhat surprisingly, at press time the studio had no plans for a companion high-def release of 'Mask.'
Tech specs include Sony's standard 1080p video and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround audio.
Supplemental details are TBA, but an official press release with full specs is expected sometime in the next couple of weeks.
MSRP has been set at $28.95.
In anticipation of a full announcement from Sony, we've added 'The Legend of Zorro' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it is indexed under December 11.
