MGM Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the thriller 'Mr. Brooks' to Blu-ray disc this October, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version.
The first of four day-and-date MGM titles alluded to (but not named) in Fox/MGM's mammoth "Return to Blu-ray" announcement this past Monday, MGM has now revealed that the Kevin Costner-William Hurt serial killer drama will make its cross-format bow on October 23.
Though no supplemental details are yet known, tech specs look consistent with Fox's past Blu-ray output, including 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 surround track.
Pricing is also in line with previous Fox/MGM next-gen titles, with a $39.98 MSRP.
We've added 'Mr. Brooks' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where he now waits to slice and dice under October 23. Stay tuned for final specs and box art to be revealed in the coming days.
