In an early alert to the trades, New Line has announced a late-September Blu-ray bow for the cult comedy 'Run Fatboy Run.'
Starring Simon Pegg and Thandie Newton, 'Run Fatboy Run' grossed a meager $6 million at the domestic box office. Hoping to give the sports farce a bigger shot on Blu-ray, New Line will debut the David Schwimmer-directed comedy on September 23 (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
Extras include audio commentary with Schwimmer and Pegg, deleted scenes, the "Thandie's Goof" blooper reel, and on a second disc with a Digital Copy of the film (in standard-def).
There are no tech specs yet, but the full announcement is due in the days ahead so we'll keep you posted.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $35.98.
