The streaming service is now available on Apple's set-top box.
Apple and Showtime have announced the launch of Showtime Anytime on the Apple TV. The app allows paying subscribers to stream Showtime content on their device.
With Showtime Anytime, Apple TV customers can now watch current and past episodes of hit Showtime shows like 'Dexter,' 'Homeland,' 'Shameless,' 'House of Lies,' 'Masters of Sex,' and 'Californication.' In addition, users also have access to popular streaming on-demand movies and can even watch live TV from Showtime's east coast and west coast networks. The app currently supports subscriptions through providers like Time Warner Cable, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse, Verizon FiOS, Optimum and Bright House Networks.
The Apple TV is now on sale for $93. In addition to Apple's device, Showtime Anytime is also available on several other streaming boxes, including the Roku 3 and the Amazon Fire TV.
