Universal has confirmed updated specs for 'Role Models,' which will hit high-def this March with multiple bonus features and exclusives.
As previously reported, the hit Paul Rudd-Seann William Scott comedy will arrive on Blu-ray March 10, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Final specs have been newly updated and revised, with the film presented in both theatrical and unrated versions (via seamless branching) on a BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio.
Extras shared between the Blu-ray and DVD versions include audio commentary with director David Wain, a trio of featurettes ("On the Set of Role Models," "Game On: Creating a Role Playing World," "In-Character & Off Script"), deleted scenes and bloopers
Exclusive to the Blu-ray is a picture-in-picture video commentary (on the unrated version only), over 20 minutes of additional deleted scenes, and BD-Live-enabled functions including My Scenes Sharing, a downloadable featurette ("Inside Sturdy Wings") and a "Ye Old Crest Maker" interactive online widget-maker.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
