Van Damme fans rejoice! Universal says it will bring the sci-fi thriller 'Timecop' to HD DVD in late December.
The 1994 Jean-Claude Van Damme thriller was the actor's highest-grossing hit, breaking the $100,000,000 barrier for worldwide gross.
Universal is not exactly pulling out all the stops for 'Timecop,' however. Like the bare bones standard-def DVD version that preceded it, the HD DVD will include a theatrical trailer as the lone bonus feature.
Tech specs feature a HD-15 single-layer disc with 1080p/VC-1 audio and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Surround tracks (1.5mbps) in both English and French.
Retail for the HD DVD is $29.98.
You'll find disc details for 'Timecop' linked from our HD DVD Release Schedule, where it is indexed under December 26.
