Titles starring Zoe Saldana, Christina Hendricks, James Spader, and more are all in the works for Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Universal, Image Entertainment, Sony, Scorpion Releasing, and Cohen Media Group.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Universal is set to release Todd Holland's The Wizard starring Fred Savage, Luke Edwards, Jenny Lewis, Beau Bridges, and Christian Slater on May 15. No supplements are currently listed for the disc.
In addition, Brian Levant's Problem Child 2 starring John Ritter, Michael Oliver, Jack Warden, Laraine Newman, and Amy Yasbeck will hit Blu-ray on May 15 as well. No other details have been announced at this time.
And rounding out the studio's upcoming catalog lineup will be Rod Daniel's K-9 starring Jim Belushi, Mel Harris, Kevin Tighe, and Ed O'Neill on May 15. Supplements have not been detailed.
As previously reported, Universal is also prepping Cory Finley's Thoroughbreds starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Olivia Cooke, and Anton Yelchin for Blu-ray, and now the release date has been set for June 5. Newly announced supplements will include:
- The Look of Thoroughbreds - Featurette
- Character Profiles
- Deleted Scenes
Likewise, Nash Edgerton's Gringo starring Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, and Thandie Newton has also been dated for June 5. Newly announced supplements will include:
- The Making of Gringo Featurette
- Who is Harold? Featurette
- The Stunts of Gringo Featurette
- Filming Gringo in Mexico Featurette
Johannes Roberts' The Strangers Prey at Night starring Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Martin Henderson, and Damian Maffei will then follow on June 12. Supplements will include:
- Alternate Ending
- "Prep for Night" Music Video – Director's Cut: The Man in the Mask, Dollface, and Pin-up Girl get ready to terrorize an unsuspecting family in a music video directed by horror auteur Mickey Keating (Darling, Carnage Park)
- A Look Inside The Strangers: Prey at Night: Stars Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson and director Johannes Roberts talk about the making of the film
- Family Fights Back: Stars Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman and director Johannes Roberts review the film's characters and their fight to survive
- The Music of The Strangers: Prey at Night: Director Johannes Roberts and star Bailee Madison discuss the John Carpenter-inspired score and the '80s soundtrack that keeps The Strangers killing
In addition, Will and Grace - The Revival: Season 1 starring Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes will also arrive on June 12. Supplements have not been detailed at this time.
Meanwhile, Aaron Katz's Gemini starring Lola Kirke, Zoë Kravitz, and John Cho is on deck for June 26. Supplements will include:

And capping off Universal's upcoming Blu-ray slate will be Syfy's The Expanse: Season 3 starring Thomas Jane, Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, and Cas Anvar on July 17. Supplements will include:
- The Expanse: Season 3 Preview
- The Expanse, Season 3: Teasers
- The Expanse, Season 3: "United by War" Trailer
- The Expanse, Season 3: Behind the Scenes
Image Entertainment is prepping Anders Walter's I Kill Giants starring Zoe Saldana, Imogen Poots, Madison Wolfe, and Sydney Wade for Blu-ray on May 22. Supplements will include
- The Making of I Kill Giants - Featurette
- Anatomy of a Scene - Featurette
- I Kill Giants Graphic Novel: Chapter 1 - Featurette
- Photo Gallery
Scorpion Releasing is set to bring Tom Gries's Lady Ice starring Donald Sutherland, Jennifer O'Neill, Robert Duvall, Patrick Magee, and Jon Cypher to Blu-ray on May 29. The disc will feature a brand new master and supplements will include:
- NEW on-camera interview with composer Perry Botkin
In addition, the label is prepping Robert Downey Sr.'s Greaser's Palace starring Albert Henderson, Michael Sullivan, and Luana Anders for Blu-ray on June 5. The disc will feature a brand new remaster of the film struck from the original camera negative and supplements will include:
- Video interview with Robert Downey conducted by Rudy Wurlitzer
- Liner notes by Jonathan Demme
Robert Amram and Rolf Forsberg's documentary The Late Great Planet Earth narrated by Orson Welles will then follow on June 12. Supplements will include:
- Original Theatrical Trailer
And rounding out Scorpion's upcoming lineup will be Karen Arthur's The Mafu Cage starring Lee Grant, Carol Kane, Will Geer, James Olson, and William Sherwood. An exact release date has not been announced yet, but the disc will feature a brand new fully uncut remaster of the film approved and supervised by the legendary DP John Bailey as well as director Karen Arthur. Supplements will include:
- BRAND NEW on-camera interview with composer Roger Kellaway
- Audio commentary with Karen Arthur
- Audio commentary with John Bailey and Carol Littleton
- On-camera interviews with star Carol Kane, star Lee Grant, editor Carol Littleton and DP John Bailey, and director Karen Arthur
- Still gallery
- Reversible cover
As previously reported, Sony has announced plans to release Andrey Zvyagintsev's Loveless starring Maryana Spivak, Aleksey Rozin, Matvey Novikov, and Aleksey Fateev on Blu-ray, and now the release date has been set for June 12. Supplements have not been detailed at this time.
In addition, the studio is also prepping The Blacklist: The Complete Fifth Season starring James Spader, Megan Boone, and Diego Klattenhoff for Blu-ray. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet, but pre-orders are now live.
Cohen Media Group is set to bring François Ozon's Double Lover starring Marine Vacth, Jérémie Renier, and Jacqueline Bisset to Blu-ray on June 19. Supplements have not been announced yet.
