Spoilers: A LOT.
It's been radio silence on the 'Zelda' front since November's Nintendo Direct, which typically means Nintendo's all hunkered down polishing both 'Twilight Princess HD' and 'Zelda WiiU' to a high shine. But, it appears that Amazon France accidentally broke that silence when they updated their product listing for 'Twilight Princess HD'. The updated page--whose details have since been removed--included some specific details about how the amiibo situation will work with the game.
For starters, the currently-circulating 'Zelda' amiibos--Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Shiek, and Ganondorf--will restore the player's health and ammo when swiped over the Gamepad. Which one does which is a mystery. For safety's sake, you probably want all of 'em. The big surprise, however, is that the Wolf Link amiibo will unlock a brand new exclusive dungeon for the game, simply dubbed "Twilight Cave".
Of course, the important thing to remember is that the Limited Edition physical retail version of the game actually comes packaged with the Wolf Link amiibo. Digital folks, however? Good luck, you're on an amiibo hunt come March 4th. Also keep in mind that the Wolf Link amiibo is supposed to transfer some sort of data between 'Twilight Princess' and 'Zelda WiiU', so it's gonna see some serious use this year.
The story finishes out by mentioning the game will also be getting Hero Mode and Gamepad-based inventory screens, much in the same style as 'Wind Waker HD'. But really, the moral of the story here is if you have to engage someone in deadly swordplay to snatch up the last amiibo at your local Gamestop, the duel might be worth it.
