The Avengers will assemble again in May.
Marvel and Disney have officially unveiled the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. The film comes from directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, and is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Avengers: Infinity War will feature a packed cast of Marvel heroes, including Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill / Star-Lord, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, and more as they all go head-to-head against Josh Brolin as the villainous Thanos.
The film will be followed by a currently still untitled Avengers 4 in 2019. Other upcoming Marvel films include Ryan Coogler's Black Panther which is set to premiere on February 16, 2018.
