Launch trailers, hard drive requirements and a sweet Amazon deal lie within.
The time has come to return to Castle Wolfenstein in 'The Old Blood', the standalone expansion for last year's surprise hit, 'Wolfenstein: The New Order', which is available for download from your online store of choice today. And with it, a slew of good stuff to share.
The first is simply the launch trailer, which continues the 50s B-movie vibe of the previous trailers, showing off more of the old castle from the first half of the campaign, entitled 'Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves', as well as the other side of the campaign, entitled 'The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs', in which you explore the sleepy little town of Wulfburg, which just so happens to be overrun by gun-toting Nazi zombies.
Second, for a more in-depth look at what to expect when 'Old Blood' makes its way onto your hard drive, here's Bethesda's Gary Steinman with a more detailed 2-minute overview.
In addition, because Bethesda loves you, if you haven't actually played 'Wolfenstein: The New Order' yet, and you most definitely should, Amazon is running an awesome deal where purchasing 'The Old Blood' will net you a $15 credit towards the purchase of 'New Order', which basically means netting both games for $35, which is a steal. No telling when Amazon's pulling that deal, so grab that here ASAP.
That said, you probably want to make sure you have the hard drive space for it, since reports are coming in that the game weighs in at a hefty 37GB, which is kind of enormous for DLC, but, from the way it looks from those two trailers, should definitely be worth the trip.
